Peer Education Presentations
In teams of two, Peer Outreach Workers present single session, 1-hour long presentations. Topics are chosen by youth in the POWER Teen Drop-In Center or on street outreach.

August 17: Balancing Education & Employment
The training sessions listed above will be held every third Thursday of the month in the computer lab located above the POWER Teen Drop-In Center from 4-5pm. The training will be open to ages 13-23. Food and beverages will be provided and three door prizes will be awarded.
Presentations are developed and facilitated by Peer Outreach Workers. The information presented is socially relevant and requested by the youth in our community. In 2016, we facilitated 25 presentations. 78% of youth who attended t the presentations reported an increase in knowledge related to the presentation subject and 84% youth contacts reported satisfaction with the presentation.
